With years of advanced practice experience, Cara combines her passion for patient care with the latest advancements in weight loss and preventative medicine. She stays at the forefront of research and developments in weight loss medications, including cutting-edge weight loss injections, to provide you with personalized, effective solutions.

Meet Deirdre Kelly, AGACNP-BC Nurse Practitioner
Deirdre Kelly is a board-certified Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Her extensive background in both inpatient and outpatient acute care settings has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of complex medical needs.

Meet Dena Kranzberg, MSN, WHNP-BC | Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Dena Kranzberg is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical practice and leadership experience. Dedicated to advancing women’s health, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, teaching, and advocacy to her role at Fleming Adult Health. Dena is passionate about guiding women through midlife and beyond with personalized, evidence-based care that empowers patients to take charge of their health.

Expertise in Women’s Health
Dena’s clinical experience spans reproductive health, midlife wellness, and menopause care. Her areas of focus include:
- Perimenopause & Menopause Care: Helping women navigate symptoms and transitions with individualized treatment strategies.
- Reproductive & Sexual Health: Providing compassionate support for women across all stages of reproductive life.
- Patient Education & Training: Former Director of Clinical Training at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, where she led provider education and clinical standards.
- Comprehensive Women’s Health: Integrating preventive care and patient-centered approaches to improve long-term outcomes.
A Passion for Advocacy & Equity
Dena’s career reflects her commitment not only to clinical excellence but also to advocacy. She has served patients in both public and private health settings, including NYC Health + Hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic and as a menopause specialist at Midi Health. She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare, as well as a champion of social and reproductive justice.
At Fleming Adult Health, Dena partners with women to deliver holistic, compassionate care—helping every patient feel supported, understood, and empowered in their wellness journey.
Meet Lauren Encarnacion, CST Practice Administrative Manager
Lauren is a board-certified Surgical Technologist and Project Coordinator. She has been working in healthcare for 13 years and has a background in Labor & Delivery and Oncology.
Lauren’s passion for helping patients shines through in everything she does. With an uplifting attitude and a heart full of compassion, she brings comfort, hope, and encouragement to those in need. Her dedication goes beyond just providing care. She creates a sense of warmth and reassurance, making a true difference in the lives of others every day.
